On the 22nd May 2016, Singleminded will be taking to the roads for the first time. With up to 18,000 riders, the Velothon is the UK’s largest closed road cycle sportive, starting in Cardiff and heading East toward Newport, before heading to Abergavenny, navigating the notorious Tumble (a 10% climb), cresting the Col Du Caerphilly and finishing in Cardiff city centre. Our riders will be sporting Singleminded jerseys and promoting our supported charities. All of our riders are self financing and have entered in advance. At 140km with some significant climbs, the Velothon is a challenge in its own right, but on a single speed bike it becomes something altogether more demanding….
